Swim Instructors work at Longshore Pool providing swim instruction to children ages 12 months - 15 years of age. Applicants must be available to work from June 19 through August 14, 2021 and be a minimum of 16 years of age. An American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification is preferred and highly suggested.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to follow directions, schedules, be organized and interact well with the public (especially children), co-workers and supervisors, and be a team player
• Must have experience working with children
• Swim experience is a must and swim instructor applicants are subject to a swim test
• Must have American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED certifications

Applications are accepted throughout the year. Directors will review applications for seasonal full-time positions in March and interviews will be conducted beginning in April.
